Detail of the main schematic in Sams Computerfacts CC11, Atari Model 800XL (July 1985), pages 27-29: the GTIA outputs (pins 31, 22, 23, 24 and 25) through the CD4050 buffer U20, R47-R51 and CR4 to the video amplifier Q3; Q3's output through R54 and L6 to pin 1 of the RF modulator, through R55 and L9 to J2 pin 1 (composite luminance) and through R56 and L7 to J2 pin 4 (composite video); the colour path from GTIA pin 21 through C52, Q2, Q4 and Q5 to R67 and C54; and the RF modulator with its sound coil L202, channel coil L201 and channel switch S2. Sams' DC voltage readings and waveform photographs are printed on the drawing.
