File:Atari XL keyboard body with over-length contact spring (Best Electronics).jpg
Summary
[edit | edit source]The inside face of a 600XL/800XL keyboard body with the mylar removed, showing the small contact springs that press the mylar layers together. Best Electronics' red circle marks a spring that stands higher than the others, which keeps its key permanently pressed once the keyboard is closed; the green circles mark locating studs on the main body and the separate function-key module.
