Commodore's schematic of the Commodore 128 external power supply made by Mitsumi, part number 252449-01, marked "For reference only". It shows the mains filter L1 and fuse F1 (600 mA 250 V), transformer T1, the 9 V AC winding with fuse F2 (1.5 A 125 V), the bridge rectifier V1-V4 and reservoir C4 (2200 µF 35 V), the switching regulator built round IC1 with switch transistors V6 and V7, diode V8 (MBR1045), inductor L2 and output capacitor C9 (4700 µF 16 V), the 5 V adjustment R11 (200 Ω), and the crowbar formed by zener V9 (6V2) and thyristor V10 (TIC106D).
