Summary

Mattel drawing 1149-9099, the Keyboard Component power supply schematic of 1979, rotated to read left to right. It shows the transformer connector J1, rectifiers CR1 to CR12, reservoir capacitors C1 (3300 µF 30 V), C2 (6800 µF 35 V), C3 (15,000 µF 30 V) and C4 (470 µF 16 V), regulators Z1 and Z3 (µA7805) and Z2 (µA7812), the turn-on control circuit Q1 to Q3, and the outputs to the logic board (J2) and tape control board (J3). Later Mattel documents list a switching power supply for production units; see the file description of the PDF.
