Summary

[edit | edit source]

Component side of the main board of a Mattel Battlestar Galactica Space Alert handheld LED game (model 2448), with the display board fitted on the right. Visible: the red FIRE button, the ARM/OFF slide switch, a blue-sleeved axial capacitor beside it with a resistor, an orange disc ceramic capacitor, the three-position guidance switch in its metal bracket at the bottom right, the display board (light guides over the LED field and a two-digit display under round lenses), the battery leads (red and black) at the top and two red wires at the bottom. The 42-pin position of the B6001 microcontroller, between the two rows of empty holes, is empty in the scan; Riddle's page shows the B6001 die photographed separately.
