File:SGI POWER CHALLENGE M IP26 SIMM banks and height limit (108-0130-001 Figure 2-1).png
Summary
[edit | edit source]Line drawing of the IP26 system board seen from above, front at the top: SIMM banks A, B and C (sockets S1 to S12) and the sockets S7 to S12, which SGI says must hold SIMMs less than 1.27 in (about 32 mm) tall because the R8000 CPU module sits over them. Figure 2-1, "SIMM Banks on the IP26 Affected by a Height Limitation", from SGI's POWER Indigo2 and POWER CHALLENGE M Upgrade Instructions (108-0130-001, 1994), page 2-3, rendered from the PDF at 200 dpi and cropped to the drawing. Used on SGI Challenge M General Maintenance.
