What it settles
[edit | edit source]- The first controller card goes in slot 6; a second DuoDisk needs a second card in slot 4, with slot 5 left empty (pp. 10-11, PDF pp. 18-19).
- The interface cable is round and shielded, 19-pin at the computer and 25-pin at the drive, and the shielded cable is needed for radio interference compliance (p. 11, PDF p. 19).
- Opening the door lifts the head load arm off the disk, so leave the door open if a disk will sit unused for hours; never remove a disk while the light is on (p. 18, PDF p. 26).
