Learning Microsoft BASIC for the Macintosh is a 1985 book by David A. Lien, published by CompuSoft Publishing of San Diego, ISBN 0-932760-34-1, Library of Congress card number 85-71339. The cover line "New Microsoft 2.0 Version" marks it as the revised edition for Microsoft BASIC 2.0; the author's note says so and refers to the first edition.[1] The Library of Congress record gives viii, 457 pages; the scan has 463.[2] The copyright page notes that parts of the material were first written by the author for Radio Shack's TRS-80.[1]
The book is organised as 51 short chapters in eight parts, with exercises, a section of answers, appendices and an index. Chapter 0 has the reader fit the programmer's switch and take Apple's Guided Tour of Macintosh.[3]
