PDP-11/44 System User's Guide (EK-11044-UG-003)
[edit | edit source]Second edition (revised) April 1981, third printing July 1981 (first edition July 1980), 160 scanned pages without a text layer.[1] Chapters: introduction (system configurations, standard hardware and options, specifications including the H7140 supply, system description, related documents); operation (front panel, console commands, registers); CPU configuration (backplane assignments, module current requirements, H7140 output current, switches and jumpers); installation; removal and replacement (mounting box, fan assembly, H7140 power supply, optional backplanes, H7750 battery backup).[1]

PDP-11/44 System Technical Manual (EK-KD11Z-TM-001)
[edit | edit source]First edition December 1980, 261 scanned pages without a text layer. It contains the user's guide material plus power checks (section 4.8), system evaluation with the MAINDEC list and CPU diagnostic ROM addresses (section 4.9), and the KD11-Z theory of operation (data paths, microcode control, Unibus and bus arbitration, cache interface, memory management, Unibus map, the 8085 console processor and serial lines).[2]

BA11-A Mounting Box and Power System Technical Manual (EK-BA11A-TM-003)
[edit | edit source]Third edition August 1983 (first edition December 1979), 106 scanned pages without a text layer. Chapters: introduction (H7140 input and output specifications, H7750 battery backup), installation (including 120 V to 240 V conversion and H7750 installation), functional operation of the H7140 (input assembly, bias and interface circuits, memory and logic voltage generation, fan voltages), the 872-D/E power controller and the H7750, and service (power checks, removal and replacement, power supply component locations).[3] It gives circuit descriptions and component references but no component values; those are in the BA11-A field maintenance print set MP-00832.[3][4]
