The TRS-80 PC-3 Owner's Manual is Radio Shack's owner's manual for the TRS-80 PC-3 pocket computer, catalogue number 26-3590, custom manufactured for Radio Shack, a division of Tandy Corporation. The scan has 289 pages, each wider than it is tall. It carries no date; the cover shows the catalogue number and a PC-3 with "TRS-80 MODEL PC-3" on its display. No Radio Shack service manual for the PC-3 has been found; Sharp's service manual for the PC-1250 and PC-1251 is described on Sharp PC-1251 Documentation.

What this manual does not contain

  • There is no circuit description, schematic, parts list or disassembly beyond opening the battery compartment. For those, use Sharp's PC-1250/PC-1251 service manual.
  • It covers the 26-3590. The 4 KB 26-3589 is not mentioned.
  • The 26-3591 printer/cassette interface is covered for use, charging and care only.
  • In the battery replacement steps (p. 21) the manual refers to "the arrow shown in figure 2"; the arrow is in figure 10. In Chapter 2 a rear view of the computer is captioned "PC-2 (Rear Panel)".
  • Printed page numbers run two lower than the PDF page numbers at the start (p. 20 is PDF page 22) and three higher near the end (p. 235 is PDF page 232).
