Games for your Commodore 64
Games for Your Commodore 64 is a book of type-in game listings for the Commodore 64 by Kieron Brennan, in Virgin Books' computer games series edited by Tim Hartnell. It was first published in London in 1983 by Virgin Books; the copyright line reads 1984 Interface/Virgin Books. ISBN 0-86369-028-9.[1] The numbered pages run to 126.[2]
Brennan was a 17-year-old schoolboy taking his A levels at Ealing Green High School when he wrote it; he had started programming on a Commodore VIC-20.[3] The book has 21 BASIC listings, most of them games, plus a few short graphics and sound programs (The Big Clock, Harmony, Piano, L.E.D. Display, Doodler). They are followed by a chapter on writing better programs, a glossary and a bibliography compiled by Hartnell.[4]
