IBM PCjr Technical Reference
The IBM PCjr Technical Reference is IBM's Hardware Reference Library technical reference for the IBM PCjr (4860), revised edition, November 1983. IBM's PCjr service manual gives its part number as 1502293.[1] The hosted PDF has 572 pages. It has a text layer, but the OCR is poor, so search results are unreliable; work from the contents list and page numbers.

What this manual does not contain
[edit | edit source]- The hosted scan has the Appendix B contents page (B-1) but none of the logic diagrams. Appendix B is hosted separately, from another scan of the same edition, as File:IBM PCjr Technical Reference Appendix B Logic Diagrams (November 1983).pdf. It includes the Power Supply Board schematic (B-23) and component placement (B-24), with component values.
- It is not a service manual: no fault-isolation procedures and no FRU part numbers. Those are in the PCjr Hardware Maintenance and Service manual.
- The power supply chapter covers the 120 V US supply only.
- Options released after November 1983 are not covered.
