Inside of a National CF-2000 with the top cover removed. At the left: the mains transformer, labelled FBM-202-002, 100 V, 13.2 V, 25.4 VA, and a separate power supply board (marked FBM-4..., with IC101, Q101 and Q102) carrying three large reservoir capacitors and one smaller one, under a shield plate. At the right: the main board marked FBM-485-028 with the cartridge connectors, the AY-3-8910 (IC20), the D8255AC-5 PPI (IC25), the video chip under a metal cover, eight µPD416C-3 video RAMs and eight µPD416C-2 main RAMs, and a small daughter board marked ROM ADP carrying two EPROMs. Several wire links are visible on the main board.
