Amstrad CPC 464 User Manual

The Amstrad CPC 464 User Manual file is a retyped PDF edition of Amstrad's owner's manual for the Amstrad CPC 464 (CPC464 Colour Personal Computer 64K). Its first page says Amstrad plc gave permission for it to be distributed electronically, and credits the scanning and OCR to David Wykes, typesetting and clean-up to Kevin Thacker and proofreading to Martyn Lycett. It has 248 pages and a text layer. The original layout and photographs are not reproduced.

What it settles

The setting-up section gives the mains plug and fuse instructions for the monitors and the MP1, the order of connection, and the start-up message "Amstrad 64K Microcomputer (v1)" with BASIC 1.0. Section 1.3 describes the MP1 and gives the television channel as about 36. Appendix IV describes the CPC 464 hardware and lists the MP1 as an optional power supply and UHF modulator.

What it does not contain

There is no circuit, parts or repair information; that is in the Amstrad CPC 464 Service Manual. As a retyped edition it is not a facsimile.
