Sharp PC-1350 Documentation
The Sharp PC-1350 documentation is Sharp's service manual for the Sharp PC-1350, which also covers the CE-201M and CE-202M RAM cards and the CE-516L cable.
Service manual
[edit | edit source]The Service Manual, PC-1350, code 00ZPC1350SM/E, was printed in Japan in September 1984 by Sharp's Industrial Instruments Group, Reliability & Quality Control Department, at Yamatokoriyama. The hosted copy is a 36-page scan from Sharp Pocket Computers.[1][2]

What it does not contain
[edit | edit source]- No mechanical disassembly procedure for the PC-1350 itself; the RAM card section covers taking a card's board out of its cabinet.
- No voltage rating for the 1 µF capacitors in the parts list.
- The parts list descriptions are partly in Japanese.
Figures it settles
[edit | edit source]- Current consumption: 20 µA maximum off, 500 µA displaying, 5 mA calculating (page 3).
- Cell thresholds: 5.2 V for the PC-1350's pair, 2.5 V for a RAM card cell (page 3).
- The four polarised capacitors C1 to C4 and their values (pages 13 and 17).
- The initialisation after a cell change:
CALL &EF88andPOKE &6EAF, 0(supplement).
