The Sharp PC-1360 is a pocket computer made by Sharp Corporation as the successor to the Sharp PC-1350. It keeps the PC-1350's case size and four-line, 24-character LCD with 150 × 32 dot graphics, and has 136 KB of system ROM, two RAM card slots and a self-check test program in ROM.[3][4] Sharp's service manual for it is dated August 1986; Wikipedia gives 1987 as the year it superseded the PC-1350.[6][7] A Kanji version, the PC-1360K, uses a different LCD.[5]
The PC-1360's user memory is on plug-in RAM cards: the CE-210M (2 KB), CE-211M (4 KB), CE-212M (8 KB, supplied), CE-2H16M (16 KB) and CE-2H32M (32 KB). The PC-1350's CE-201M and CE-202M cards cannot be used in it.[3][4]

Sharp's current figures at 20 °C: 25 µA maximum with the power off, 600 µA maximum while displaying and 4.3 mA maximum during calculation; a CE-212M card draws about 25 µA maximum.[9]
Test program
[edit | edit source]The PC-1360 has a self-check test program in ROM. With the machine in RUN mode and switched off, hold the V, R, 7 and 1 keys together and switch on to reach the test menu: 1 display, 2 RAM card, 3 KROM & RAM (Japan only), 4 keys, 5 11-pin I/O, 6 15-pin I/O. The I/O tests need Sharp's test tool UKOGC3020CSZZ, and the RAM test destroys the contents of the RAM.[8] Details are in the Sharp PC-1360 Troubleshooting Guide.
