The Sharp PC-1360 documentation is Sharp's service manual for the Sharp PC-1360 pocket computer.
Service manual
[edit | edit source]The Service Manual, Model PC-1360, code 00ZPC1360SM/E, was printed in Japan in August 1986 by Sharp's Information Systems Group, Quality & Reliability Control Center, at Yamatokoriyama. The hosted copy is a 21-page scan from Sharp Pocket Computers.[1][2]

What it does not contain
[edit | edit source]- No mechanical disassembly procedure.
- No circuit designators on the main board drawing for the capacitors, and no voltage rating for the 1 µF part in the parts list.
- No re-initialisation step after a cell change of the kind given in the PC-1350 manual's supplement.
Figures it settles
[edit | edit source]- Current consumption: 25 µA maximum off, 600 µA displaying, 4.3 mA calculating; CE-212M about 25 µA (page 3).
- The built-in test program and how to start it (V, R, 7 and 1 held at switch-on), with Sharp's test tool UKOGC3020CSZZ for the I/O tests (pages 7 to 9).
- The PC-1360 and PC-1360K LCDs, LF7117 and LF7247 (page 12).
- The fitting notes for the 1 µF and 3.3 µF capacitors (page 13).
