French instructions

[edit | edit source]

The French Videopac G7200 leaflet, Philips document 3111 106 67350, published by S.A. Philips Industrielle et Commerciale in Paris, has 8 pages. It adds a specification that the English leaflet does not have: 220 V 50 Hz mains, 15 W consumption, 20 mW sound into a 25 Ω loudspeaker, a 23 cm screen, a 49-key keyboard, dimensions of 370 × 230 × 410 mm and a weight of 6.5 kg. It also asks owners not to block the ventilation openings.[2]

What these documents do not contain

[edit | edit source]

Both are owner's leaflets. They have no circuit diagram, no parts list and no adjustment procedure for the monitor. Owners on the Videopac / Odyssey2 forum refer to a G7200 service manual with a complete component list, and one owner found a copy that lacked the power supply and monitor sections.[3][4]
