The part number on the cover is cut off at the edge of the scan after 4822 725 2465.[3] The manual has nine chapters: caution, product information, service information, demounting and service positions, service software, electrical drawings, diagnostics, mechanical drawing and parts list.[3]

The scan lacks pages 78 and 79 of the original, which hold the servo and power section parts lists; the CDI 360 service manual has the equivalent lists.[5] For the circuit description Philips refers to the CDI 205's, which is hosted on the Philips CDI 205 Documentation page.[6] ICDIA's PDF also contains an unrelated German service manual for the CDM-1 audio CD mechanism after the CD-i material; it is not included in the hosted file.[1]

Owner's manual

[edit | edit source]

The owner's manual covers the controls and connections, setting up, the player's menus, connecting a television or hi-fi, care of the unit, a check list of simple faults, the guarantee, specifications and accessories.[4]
