Philips CDI 910 Documentation

The Philips CDI 910 documentation hosted on the wiki is Philips' technical training manual for the Philips CDI 910 CD-i player, published by Philips Consumer Electronics Company, a division of North American Philips Corporation, under the reference ST1436-292. The scan comes from ICDIA, which describes it as a general introduction to CD-i hardware and troubleshooting with many technical details of the CDI 910 and of Mini MMC players in general.[1][2]

What this manual does not contain
[edit | edit source]- Appendix G is only the contents page of the service information sections of the CDI 910 service manual (manual 5467): disassembly, exploded views, block and wiring diagrams, and the board layouts, parts lists and circuit diagrams of every panel. The diagrams themselves are not in this scan, which ends with a blank page.[2]
- There is no parts list and no capacitor value apart from those printed in the simplified power supply drawing (figure 22).[2]
- The scanned copy carries handwritten notes and highlighter marks, including altered part numbers for the extension cables in appendix F.[2]
- ICDIA holds the preliminary CDI 910 service manual with MMC board schematics only on paper.[1]
